The East Renfrewshire Football Development Programme in partnership
with the Scottish Football Association was established in 1995 and
continues to go from strength to strength. The aims of the programme
have remained mostly unchanged from then with activities organised
to encourage participation and interest in the game, not only in
player participation and development, but also in areas such as
coaching. The programme is designed to develop all young players
irrespective of their ability, gender and age.
Presently there is over 25 SFA qualified and vetted coaches working
in various programmes throughout the area, who endeavour to give
everyone the opportunity to develop their skills at the appropriate
rate.
