The SFA Coach Education Courses give coaches the opportunity to develop and to improve their knowledge and understanding of our National Game.  They have a bank of 35 coaches to assist and carry out training.

In August 05, Brian Hamilton and John Gervais from the SFA and East Renfrewshire Council, held a Coaches Education day specifically for ERSDA and its members. This day was a huge success, although it is hoped that every club involved with ERSDA would be able to send along a coach for each of their teams in the future.

The courses are split into 4 categories:-

  • Children
  • Youth
  • Adult and
  • Goalkeeping

Coaches must follow the progressive pathway from Level One to Level Two, Level Three and onto Level Four.

All applicants will receive a video, booklet and certificate of attendance. The SFA/East Renfrewshire run a comprehensive Coach Education Programme in this area.

For any inquiries regarding our SFA Coach Education Programme or to book a place on any forth coming courses please contact Football Development at East Renfrewshire Council.
